Jonah Lomu funeral

Yesterday we went to the funeral of Jonah Lomu at Eden park. I was excited to go to this funeral. We saw Wesley college, the All Blacks and the Warriors. The famous people of the All Blacks were doing the haka. My favourite it when we got to watch the doves flying away. I felt sad at the end.

Being a scientist

Scientist work hard to solve interesting problems that most of us never understand. A scientist has to be clever. I would love to be a scientist.

Off to the museum

Yesterday we went to the Auckland  museum to learn about fossils and dinosaur. I liked minecraft  because I was looking for the controllers unite I found the concretes and it was really l hard to find. Also I liked the treehouse because there was lots of cool things in there.

I do not like to the  museums again. 

Athletes day

On Friday room 14 we went to netball courts for athletics day.

I enjoy doing the high jump because Arthur said to Mr Blakey when it was Aj Master turn he said can you put it higher then Mr Blakey said to the teacher put it higher. It was hard to jump over it but only one jumped over it we were amazed. Also I enjoyed the sprints because I came first for the 50 meters and the 75 meters.

After lunch we were watching the 4 teams and those 4 team names are Te Aurere,hokule’a,hine Moana and hikianalia and the winning was hine Moana then hine Moana was playing teachers, from the past pt England,parents then the people from the past Pt England.

I hope next year it well be better.

Performance recount

Today, Room 14 went to assembly in the hall to do a item. Because we are learning about dinosaurs and there is a song called there one in the bush.  

When we were walking up onto the stage I felt nervous about to performing on stage in front of the whole school. We were dancing to there's one in the bush song. I enjoyed about it when I   Was shy because I didn't want to dance when I was dancing.

Rainy Monday

On Monday it was a stormy day. It was so chilly I was colder then Cj. I was holding my bag on my head but I was still getting wet. I heard thunder and lightening and I got scared but I still had to walk to school but I didn't care. I was feeling wet and sad. I wished I was in Samoa eating coconut on the beach.

Holding the piece of bread, we crept on to the field to feed the gulls. After we were all hoping that lots of gulls would come. After pigeons started to come a eat the bread including a teenager pigeon.then the seagulls came and scared the pigeons away.

Dear Awkward Guys,

Yesterday, I saw you having serious problems running down the road in your brand new running gear.  It looked like you were really in need of some help, so I decided to write to you to give you two tips.

Firstly you run on your tip-toes. If you do this you would run like lightning.

Secondly you should run straight ahead. If you don't you might bump into people but if you run straight you won't.

Thirdly you should bend your arms so you can run faster. If you don't you will be slow.

Cook Island

In the cook island we can climb the coconut tree to sell it in the market.I would like to visit cook islanders because they are friendly to people.Cook Islanders dance  to the drums.

Make it teacher

Matariki

Matariki is a name of group of star which appear in winter night sky. It mark the beginning of the māori new year which is a time for people to celebrate.

There are different ways to celebrate matariki. Family's and friends do  performances like kapa haka. They let off colourful fire works which are exciting to watch.

Our trees

Trees supply oxygen that helps us breathe.They provide home for wildlife and shelter for everything.trees make our world beautiful. The lucky we have amazing trees at pt England.

From faraway macrocarpa look like walking trees with their strong branches.Tall trees go up to the sky and they drink water to make it grow bigger and stronger. Room fourteen was bark rubbing which I enjoyed.

The trees look giant and look tall. The bark on the tree feels rough. the tree looks like it's touching the sky.The tree trunk looks huge. The soft leaves are trying to get Sun.

Morning walk

This morning we went for a walk. We were walking on the grass which was wet and frosty. The grass looked white and frozen.

When we were walking we saw spider webs glistening in the morning sun. 

We were walking then we saw the horses breath which looked steamy.

Room fourteen went to the end we saw foggy by the beach and saw nothing because the fog was covering it.

Mr Burt

Mr  Burt is our principal and looks handsome. He wears fancy clothes.

His Office is fantastic because his office smells like diamonds and he has a comfortable chair which spins around like a tornado.

Mr Burt is a busy man who talks to naughty people who play karate, Bruce lee, cowboy, rugby union and ball rush.

The snails

Snails look slimy so they are not good to touch. They have a shell which is hard

and protects it.

They live in the shade because they can get wet. we can easily find snails on trees and rocks where they can sleep.

They eat leaves branch grass and little stuff

Our playground

The whole school use our playground it's on the bottom of the field and it's near the the kindergarten. The playground is also by the horses.

The playground is made of wood,metal and plastic it also has bark on the ground. The playground is long, wide and colossal.

It looks colourful we can see black,grey,blue and yellow.

There are lots of things that we can play on on the playground. My favourite thing that I play on is the tornado and monkey bars. I like these because I can race people.

This is a washing machine. It's input is electricity soap clothes and it's output is clothes.

Today I Listen too the kissing hand.My character is Chester. Chester is a racoon.

Feijoa

The feijoa look fat and they feel hard. The feijoa smell sour and it taste funny.

Kazoo maker

On Monday in Mr.Blakey's class we made kazoos. We used scissors, Sellotape, colourful paper, two little rubber bands and a big one. First we cut the colourful paper out. Then we got the Popsicle sticks and we wrapped them around the sticks with the Sellotape. Next we pulled out one of the Popsicle sticks carefully. After that we stretched the big rubberband around the stick which was a little bit tricky. Then we put on the other Popsicle stick and wrapped two rubberbands around it. Finally we got to blow it. It sounded weird but it was amazing.

When class fourteen went to motat.Me and John went to the mirror maze.Then I triped John in the mirror maze. All of the year three went to the shad. Then we had morning tea.Then class fourteen went to Abby at a room that was cold and cool in there. Then we got speet up to aw ab bs tb bc Ib. .Then black caps went to the camera seting.
