Taminamina - Create Task

Task Description: Today Rm 1 had to pick a taniwha from this video and we had to write some facts about. So the taniwha I chose was taminamina and where he was from, where he lives, what is his myth. I had help with my mum because she was from around there and knew some stuff about.

Independant and Dependant clauses 1

 Walt:Recognise compound and complex sentences.

Task Description: Today for writing we learnt about Independant and Dependant clauses. We look at a paragraph in the beginning and on the side we had to writing what was wrong with it. We also looked at compound and complex sentences. At the end we had to writing the first paragraph in our own words.     

Myth - Rata and the Totara Tree

Task Description: For Literacy we read a myth called Rata and the Totara Tree. We had to read an article about the Totara Tree and in our own word we had to write what the tree was for. We read the book online saw Summarised what happened in the story. We also had to make a create task.

Decimals Fraction - Level 1

Task Description: Today for maths we did decimal fractions and we had to transform the improper fractions to proper fractions. This task was easy but good so I coould had a litttle recap on decimal fraction. 

Maths Week - Sophie Germain

Task Description: This week is maths week, so we are completing a series of maths challenges. IN our first challenge we learnt about famous mathematician.

Camp 2021

This years camp was awesome! I am so grateful for the opportunity we were given to step out of our comfort zone. The activities we should definitely keep for if 2021 are: Go Karts, Paint Ball, Air Rifles, Cross Games, etc. But I think it would be amazing if we also if we had more time there to do wet activities at KVCC. Overall, These three days are really important. 

Leadship Camp

Last week we went to the Kauaeranga valley christian camp / KVCC. Some of my highlights were the air rifles, paintball, and the obstacle course but most of all the go carting. The reason why I loved the go carts was because I wasn't trying to win but just to have fun by drifting and taking my time instead of going for the best time.

Timeline Of James Cook

Walt: Understand how people remember and record the past in different ways
 

 Task Description: Today for inquiry we learnt about James Cook and what he did during November 9th, 1769. We did a timeline of what he did during the time of when the european settle to New Zealand.
