Dear Future Me...

Dear Future Me,

Today is Wednesday 15th April 2020, 1st day of Term 2 and I am at home in G.I.  I am not at school because of the COVID-19 virus pandemic and NZ is on lockdown.  I’m feeling good because we have online learning and we are staying at home.  I don’t have to get dressed in uniform.

I am thankful for having a home, and for having a family to take care of me.  I am thankful that I don’t feel worried because I know I am in a safe environment where the COVID 19 virus won’t get me.

Right now I miss hanging out with my friends the most and maybe not having a Big Mac or KFC too.  The first thing I want  to do when this is all over is go to Extreme in Botany, and eat a Big Mac from McDonalds, maybe even some KFC.

I wonder if you got into Dilworth or Sacred Heart College like you wanted or did you go to a different school?  Did it have girls too? Did you get a girlfriend?  I bet your Mum and sister were giving you a hard time.  What about Paschal, Tisa and AJ, do you still keep in touch with them?  I hope that they are doing good.

How are Mum, Dad and Liv doing?  Did your family travel overseas yet? Did Olivia end up being a physio with the All Blacks and did she hook you up with free tickets, or did you play in the team?

Here are some questions to ask yourself to see if your life is good?

What have you been doing for the last few years since I wrote this on April 15 2020?

Have you been doing great with helping the parents, also do you have a girlfriend or are you still single and trying to find one?

How is college going for you and your friends?

Do you still speak to your friends and family?

Have you/Applied for a job anywhere and if so hopefully you get it?

Are you in any rugby teams, playing at Marist still or are you in international teams which is great if you did?

Hope you're happy man. Be good to your family and friends, they are important.

Task Description: This week during the lock down in quarantine for online schooling we are learning upon how to write for a specific audience. This is currently the first day of Term 2 of 2020 and the theme for this term is " We are the World ." For this weeks online learning we had to write to our future self. it was pretty weird at first but I was okay afterwards.
