Task Description: Today our task was about The Great Barrier Reef just off the coast of Australia. We learnt some cool thing from this work task like, it's a good place for sea life animals and Australia. The animals which live there are the Cuttle Fish so they can hide from other animal that want to eat them, The Moray Eels because the look deadly but there really shy and hide under the reef and the last animal the live/doesn't live there are Dugong because if The Great Barrier Reef didn't exist Dugong wouldn't have enough food to have. Polygon

Walt:Group basic 2D shapes based onn their properties

Today we were in Maths class and we continued to look at our geometry and shapes. We looked at polygons and how the it's names Poly-gon means Many-angles. This means the Penta-gon means 5 angles. We also learnt what makes a polygon, well a polygon, closed up, straight lines, ect. I enjoyed this task and really think this will improve and expand my knowledge. Geometry  is a subject I really want to improve in.

Task Description: Today we went over 2D shapes and it's angle, symmetry, corners or vertices and sides. On both slide 3 and 4 we had to look for which one is the odd shape out and explained why. On the last slide we had to organise the shape into categories and under each categories we had to explain why we organise these shaped together.

Which One Doesn't Belong?


Task Description: Today, we memorized the properties of different shape, by looking at how each shape is different from the others. It was an moderately easy task to complete, but it did test and get my thoughts going. It definitely helped and tested my knowledge on shapes and geometry.

Pompeii Create Task Poster

Walt: Draw on multiple sources of information to comprehend an event

Task Description: For this weeks task we learned about Pompeii and Herculaneum. We started Monday to Friday, we had to complete each of these slides to get this done, we watched a video about a volcano erupting in Pompeii, it was erupting slowly until the following day I think. After that, we had to list down some notes of what we think or feel, the next day we had to complete the other slide which was today. The next slide was about writing our own words and our own sentences about Pompeii, also finding out facts about it too.

Task Description: Today in maths we went a little bit into geometry, we looked at the properties of different shapes, we looked at symmetry and how shapes are found in daily lives. For the task we had to take pictures of different shapes and items in our house we also had to name the properties of different shapes and how we identify them.

Task Description: This is our second reading task for the week and this is Badge of Honour where 4 students take place to be leaders, but then 1 chooses to make wrong decisions and goes and does wrong things out of school. But then in this task, we had to make questions using the question starters and then write down what would be the answer for when Isaac answers them.

Task Description: This task is about the things you were told from your grandparents or the things you weren't told! I had to think of somethings in the past that my grandparents told me and did not. As I went through this I had just remembered some things from the past that I was told to do and not to do. I started writing some things that I just had in my head.

Chunuk Bair



Walt: Take a note of the different language and the picture they are trying to paint with words

Task Description: Design a hexagon for our class/ team hexagon quilt based on the poem "Chunuk Bair". I had to read the poem and show what I visualised (saw in my head) while reading the poem, and fit it into the hexagon template.  I wasn't allowed to go outside the template lines.

Task Description:Today for reading we had to read a story about a girl named Faith, her mother and Oakley Creek. Faith's mother wanted to meet her teacher and Faith didn't know what to do.

Task Description: Today for we had our last day of working on graphs. For the last day of working on graphs we did a survey from 1 to 10 asking the class that came online, how many are scared of corona virus and many people weren't scared at all, everyone was in between 1 - 5. This task was a very good task as we had a long class of dicussing the graphs
