London Eye

In London they have a tall building that is a London Eye and it is a Ferris wheel that goes round but it goes slow.It is 120 meters tall and it would give you the creeps when you look up.You can see the Big Ben inside the London Eye.

Netball kiwisport

Goal, dodge, shoot!  Do you know what sport is this? It is Netball yaaaaaaaay!  We learned about lots of different things.  Chrissy taught us 3 ways of defence, sticking to your partner, keeping your hands up and being 3 feet away.  We did netball drills with Chrissy like numbers, piggy in the middle and we were working on our intercept. It was hard because you had to pass to the next person but the defender was blocking our way. We loved Netball.  Thank you Chrissy!

The Colosseum

2000 years ago in the Colosseum gladiators used to have fights with other soldiers. The Colosseum–officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater–with 100 days of games, including gladiatorial combats and wild animal fights.Christians are killed by deadly animals.

Gladiators used their spears to Protect the king from danger. The king's name was caesar and he was a bad king.The Colosseum collapsed in an earthquake in 1349.It is one of the 5 famous building in Rome.

Tessellation is a repeated shape that makes a pattern with no gaps. My tessellation is a square.

FiaFia

On Thursday night it was FiaFia, the Kapa Haka groups costume looked funky and it made us look like Maori     Warriors.

When I got on stage I felt scared because there were lots of people watching me. Once I began my haka I was caught up in the moment. I was amazing on stage because I am a natural at dancing on stage for FiaFia. My family was proud of me on stage.

Through the water, I swam as fast as an a arrow. Diving into the pool I suddenly grew big muscles. I like to swim because I like to swim with my friends.
