Choose It Narrative
Chucking it in the right bin
It is important to put rubbish in the right bin. If you put your rubbish in the right bin we will have cleaner water but people are putting rubbish in different bins or chucking it wherever they are. People aren’t looking after our water and lands because we are too lazy to put it in the bin.
Using less plastic
We are using too much plastic. We need to use less plastic because that is what is polluting our waters and land.

Way To Save Energy
Way To Save Energy
Have you been saving a lot of energy in your home? If not, here are three ways to save energy in your own home.
SUN
The sun is one of the most important ways to save energy. Most people think if you use wires to get power, around half of the power that is stored in the wires get taken out because of the heat of the sun and if you use the wires you will have to pay the bill. People use the sun to power their solar panels to have more power in their homes. For example, when you want power and the wires cut out, people around you still have power and that is because they use solar panels to use power.
WATER
Water is a helpful resource in life because if we don’t have it we will die from not having enough water in your system. A lot of people die from thirst, like people in Africa, India, New Zealand, etc. People polluted water in the late mid-19th century. For example, when we have people who are dying from thrist other people from across the world with lots of water waste it because it tastes yuck.
AIR
Air is a critical part in our environment because if we don’t have air we will die. People are polluting the air in all these factories and if we don’t do something about it we will be breathing in polluted air. About 6.5 million die from air pollution. This is why we need to stop making factories so we can live happily with fresh clean air. We also can’t clean the air because we don’t have enough technology to figure out how to clean the air everywhere.

Sustainability Water: Paragraph
We need to save the water for the environment. If we can save the water we will have plenty of water in the future, but we use too much water. The reason we use too much water is because we are having five minute showers and that takes up 400 gallons of water, leaving the tap on when brushing our teeth. iF we can have less showers, turn the tap off when brushing your teeth then we can have more water to have.
People don’t get enough water each day. 700 million people don't have the privilege to have clean water everyday, whereas other people who live in the city get clean water everyday. One way to save people who don’t have clean water is to send it to them.
Our waterways are polluted and it is not good to drink. The reason for water getting polluted is because we are letting the animals poo in the waterway. If we can help save the animals stop pooping we will have good waterways again.
So there you have it. These are my three things to keep our water clean. What would you do to save/keep our water clean and healthy?
Task Description: Today for reading we had to put what we put on our other post the Water Sustainablility. Then we had to writing our own introduction and conclusion.

2020 Immersion Assembly
This week we came back to school for term 4 and the theme for this term is Art Alive and in Maori is Toi Ora.
On the First day we had a immersion assembly which each team had to perform a movie or play which represents the theme. My First Favorite is Team 4. They had no time to create a play so. they recorded themselves in a google meet and it was hilarious.
My Second Favorite is Team 5. They imagined that they were in a Gallery exploring the different arts that are on the wall. It's was fun and a Amazing play.

Plastic Fantastic
Walt: Identify a world problem and come up with solutions
Task Description: Today for reading we learnt about plastic and some fact about what happens to it and where it goes. We looked at a few videos telling us about how many plastic we use and where they go when we don't use them. Later we had to create a poster or slides to show you what we need to do to save polllution.

Last Game For Marist...for now!
Last Saturday I played my last game of club rugby at Marist.
I've been playing at Marist for eight seasons, starting out with U6 Rippa Marist Royals in 2013 and finishing with my 2nd season as a U13 Blue player. You might be wondering how I played U13 twice. My coach/Dad thought it was a good idea for me and my friends to go straight from U7 rippa to U9 tackle rugby. So I have pretty much always played at least 1 grade up.
Because of Covid-19 and a broken arm I got from training, I only played 3 games. I was bummed.
Our last game was against College Rifles and we started the game short some players. It took us less than a minute to score the first try and it was all on from there. It was a hot day and the game got a lot harder because we started to get dehydrated. We managed to win the game 70-10. It was good to finish with a massive win.
I am a little sad to be leaving Marist for now and not having my dad be my coach, but I am excited to be going to college next year and making and playing with new team mates.
For the last time:
